Summer promotion highlights offer whereby customers will receive 1GB of free data when they top-up by £10

EE has launched a multi-million pound advertising campaign to promote an offer that sees customers topping up by £10 this summer receive 1GB of free data.

Hollywood actor Kevin Bacon, who has featured in all of EE’s adverts to date, is seen struggling to drag a ‘shed load of data’ across a British beach battered by changeable weather. It contains logos from the likes of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Sky.

The campaign runs until the end of next month and will run across TV, out-of-home (OOH), press and digital display advertising mediums.

EE director of brand Spencer McHugh said: “Kevin Bacon has been a big hit with our EE audience and he’s back in this instalment of our summer campaign to help push the Orange ‘shed load of data’ deal. Orange plans are an important part of the EE offering and the new creative helps  show off the amazing data deals that you can get on 3G with Orange pay-as-you-go.”
