Three launch new dog themed marketing campaign


Operator’s multi-million campaign look to help grow its 3.7 million prepay base 

Three has revealed it’s latest advertising campaign to push it’s new ‘321’ pay as you go tariff.

The tariff, which was announced last month, means customers will be charged 3p per minute for calls, 2p per text and 1p for a MB of data. Three added that credit will not have an expiry date.

The multi-million campaign goes live today (August 9) and covers TV, video on demand, outdoor, print and online.

The TV advert, fronted by Mabel the Pug (pictured), will be seen on screens tonight after the operator bagged a series of ‘primetime slots’.

The campaign will run until the end of August, with a second phase planned to run from November to Christmas.

In a statement Three said that the “clear and simple” approach was part of drive to towards “back to basic pay as you go”.

Three currently has 7.5  million active customers, with around 3.6 million of those on prepay
