Man who played key role in Samsung’s ‘Galaxy’ brand launch, looking to help boost HTC’s identity
HTC has appointed former Samsung global director, Martin Kang as its new VP of marketing for EMEA.
Kang, who begun the role earlier this month, joined HTC from Samsung back in 2011 heading up marketing across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Kang will now take complete control of all HTC marketing across Europe (including the UK), the Middle East and Africa and will play a key role in HTC’s new ‘Here’s to Change’ marketing campaign designed to boost its brand identity click here for full story.
He replaces Stefan Streit, who has moved to a new global marketing role at the firm after almost three-years.
During his time at Samsung, Kang played a key role in launching the Galaxy brand, and was in charge of the firms device portfolio in Germany.
