Sony Music signed solo artist’s latest music video recorded on Sony’s flagship handset
Sony’s flagship handset, the Xperia Z, has been used to record parts of pop band Example’s new music video single, ‘All the Wrong Places’.
The video, produced by Sony Music, also features clips of the handset being used, including at one stage being strapped to the singer’s microphone.
The placement is part of a larger campaign from Sony, dubbed Xperia Access, which gives fans exclusive access to Sony artists and music videos.
A competition was also held in the Guardian newspaper as part of the campaign, with the winner appearing in the video and meeting Example.
Sony Mobile North West Europe director of marketing Catherine Cherry said: “Being able to work with a Sony artist such as Example gives us the chance to produce unique entertainment that truly sets us apart from our competitors. “
