Vodafone platinum partner buys gold partner, becoming its sixth acquisition in the past 15 months
PMGC Technology has continued its acquisition push with the purchase of Vodafone gold partner AMC Communications.
It is PMGC’s sixth buy in the past 15 months. It did not reveal how many connections the deal added, but it is understood PMGC’s base stands at more than 60,000 numbers.
The managed service provider of cloud and unified communications solutions said the deal will enable it to better serve existing clients in the south west and the UK, while adding £2 million in revenues to the business and bringing overall customer numbers to almost 3,000.
AMC’s existing 14 staff members will remain at its office in Bristol and will be fully integrated and rebranded into the wider PMGC Technology Group, with current directors Simon Winter and Sam O’Donnell joining the company as development directors.
PMGC CEO Jason Yeomans (pictured) said: “AMC Communications is well-known for delivering superb customer service, proof of which came when they won the Vodafone ‘customer obsession’ award last year. The acquisition adds scale, reach and capability to PMGC and is further testament to our aggressive growth strategy, while ensuring that we remain totally customer obsessed.
“This latest acquisition means that we now have a truly UK wide platform from which to support our growing customer base, from Scotland, the North East, North West, South East and now in the South West. I am very proud of our performance over the last 15 months and now look forward to bringing new and innovative solutions to our new customers.”
