Attendees will be given the chance to experience the manufacturer’s latest technology products and services before they are released on sale to the general public
Sony Mobile has been named as a sponsor of Telefónica’s Campus Party technology event, which takes place at The O2 in London from September 2-7.
Campus Party is a technology festival where around 10,000 ‘Campuseros’, the name given to the developers, gamers and tech enthusiasts attending the event, come equipped with laptops and camp on-site. The event features 500 hours of talks, debates, workshops and competitions related to science, innovation, digital entertainment and creativity.
As part of the sponsorship, Sony will be showcasing its latest technology, with attendees given an exclusive look at what the manufacturer has planned before it is released on sale to the general public. Attendees will also be granted special access to the IFA trade show in Berlin, which takes place from September 6-11.
Sony Mobile president for North West Europe Pierre Perron said: “Partnering with Campus Party is a great opportunity for us to showcase the best of Sony’s design and technology. Consumers are always keen to discover innovation, so we wanted to show Campuseros that Sony provides the best entertainment experiences, by placing our full ecosystem of brand new products directly in their hands.”
