rebranded as it marks 10 year milestone


Full rebrand brings online business into line with existing marketing and sponsorship deals

A1 Comms has rebranded its online business to to provide greater consistency with its mass marketing.

The rebrand, which has seen a change in name, logo and website design, coincides with the online retailer’s 10th year in business.

It has also resulted in A1 Comms changing the URL of the website, which went live on August 19.

The logo, which featured blue and orange lettering, has been replaced with the logo in blue and black.

The shortened name has featured on the shirts of Derby County Football Club since it began its sponsorship deal with them in July 2010 and on the shirts of Derbyshire County Cricket Club since that deal commenced at the start of the current season in April.

Retail brands was set up in 2003 and is one of four online consumer retail brands operated by A1 Comms, running alongside Mobile Shop, Affordable Mobiles and, which went live last month. It sells contract and SIM-free handsets from manufacturers including Apple, Samsung, Nokia, Sony Mobile, HTC and BlackBerry, making connections to all major UK mobile operators.
