Doro appoints BDM for the UK and Ireland

Pratul Shah’s remit is to develop relationships with partners and find new business opportunities 

Doro has appointed Pratul Shah as business development director for the UK and Ireland. He will report to the manufacturer’s managing director in the regions, Chris Millington.

Shah (pictured) has been tasked with developing relationships with current clients and identifying new business opportunities and customers.

Previous to this role, Shah spent eight years at US-based semiconductor provider Advanced Micro Devices, where he was UK consumer channel manager for six-and-a-half years and EMEA telco channel manager for 18 months.

Millington said: “We have brought Shah on board because he has an excellent skill set, which we see aiding our growth in the UK and Ireland markets. His dynamic and strategic approach adds great value to us as a team. We are currently growing very fast and Shah’s appointment will certainly help us to further develop this growth opportunity.”

Shah added: “I believe the company is poised for further growth as we continue to realise our potential and secure additional partnerships. Doro caters for a growing sector where our DNA inherently drives a compelling value proposition allowing us to capitalise in the competitive market place.”
