Three has revealed its 4G roll out plans for 2014, including a list of cities which will get the superfast mobile broadband service.
In August, the mobile operator announced it will begin its 4G roll out in December, launching in London, Birmingham and Manchester. Before the end of the year the service will also launch in Reading, Oldham, Dudley, West Bromwich, and Wolverhampton.
It has now listed the 42 cities which will get 4G in 2014: Aberdeen, Blackpool, Bolton, Bournemouth, Bradford, Brighton, Bristol, Cambridge, Cardiff, Coventry, Derby, Dundee, Edinburgh, Exeter, Glasgow, Gloucester, Huddersfield, Ipswich, Kingston Upon Hull, Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool, Luton, Milton Keynes, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Northampton, Norwich, Nottingham, Oxford, Peterborough, Plymouth, Portsmouth, Preston, Sheffiled, Slough, Southampton, Southend on Sea, Stoke on Trent, Stockport, Swindon, Watford, and York.
Three, which is the only UK operator not to have launched 4G yet, plans to cover 98 per cent of the population by the end of 2015.
