EE targets financial sector customers with new campaign

The operator’s ‘In the City’ strategy aims to entice banking and financial service customers by offering Mobile Voice Recording and BlackBerry Enterprise Service (BES 10)

EE launched a campaign targeting potential customers in the banking and financial services sector today (October 14).

It’s ‘In The City’ strategy includes services such as Mobile Voice Recording, which ensures all mobile phone calls made by financial traders are recorded transparently and cost effectively, including from abroad.

The service works with all handsets, stores recorded conversations for six months, and relies on BlackBerry’s mobile security management software BES 10.

EE has also launched BES (BlackBerry Enterprise Service) 10 software with the highest level of control (‘Regulated’) for BlackBerry 10 smartphones.

Its ‘In The City’ marketing campaign will involve print advertising, direct marketing and an event for current and prospective customers to introduce EE’s offering to the financial services industry.

“With our ‘In the City’ strategy, we’ve put together a complete package for financial services organisations that makes it easier for them to securely manage their mobile device fleets and comply with regulations governing mobile trading.
