EE head of indirect business sales announces departure

Darren Goldsmith, whose departure follows that of indirect sales director Nathan Vautier, has been with EE since 1998

EE head of indirect business sales Darren Goldsmith has today (November 12) announced his departure from the company.

Goldsmith joined the company in 1998 and filled account manager and executive roles before becoming national sales manager in February 2006.

He then became head of indirect business marketing in October 2007 and then head of multiple retailers and airtime in December 2008. He has held the role of indirect business sales from January 2011

Goldsmith said: “The past 15 years of my career have been both challenging and enjoyable in equal measure. In this time I have managed significant change in the business and I wish my colleagues the very best for the future.”

EE director of indirect sales Nathan Vautier, who is also leaving the company at the end of this year (see here), said: “I can confirm that Darren has recently announced his intention to move on from EE to explore new opportunities. Darren has held several key roles in the business over the past 15 years, most recently successfully leading our Indirect Sales team. I’d like to thank him for his contribution to the business over many years and wish him well for the future.”
