Manufacturer releases new football app drawing on its partnership with governing body UEFA
HTC has launched a new application to bring users breaking football news and statistics.
The manufacturer has been the exclusive phone supplier partner of the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League since January under a three-year agreement, and will use the link-up to bring data to users the moment it is released by UEFA.
Information in the HTC FootballFeed application – based on HTC’s customisable BlinkFeed homescreen – will include team news, match updates and post-game analysis.
The free app will also allow fans to make calendar notifications for upcoming games.
Further developments to the app will see users given the chance to make suggestions on how to improve HTC FootballFeed. Users will be able to vote on their favourite ideas, which HTC will then incorporate into following updates.
