Smartphone manufacturer Doro been certified by Google, meaning its devices will now come preloaded with key Android applications.
As a GMS (Google Mobile Services) partner, Doro’s Android devices will include apps such as Google Play, Google Search, Google Maps, YouTube and Gmail.
The news coincides with the manufacturer’s launch of its second smartphone, the Doro Liberto 810 (pictured), which is the first Doro Android devices to offer preinstalled Google applications.
Doro VP of Product Development Thomas Bergdahl said: “This is a significant step forward for Doro as a globally recognised consumer technology brand. It means we are now a Google approved Android device manufacturer and presents us with many opportunities. This milestone is also further recognition of our market leading status within the easy segment of the mobile industry.”
