Doro passes five million global handset sales milestone


Senior handset manufacturer has sold more than one million devices since May 2013 when sales topped four million 

Doro has passed five million handset sales globally since releasing its first product in 2007.

The manufacturer sold in excess of one million devices since May 2013, when it announced it ha topped four million handset sales.

This year Doro UK has achieved listings with the likes of Carphone Warehouse, Phones 4U, O2, Orange, T-Mobile and Argos this year.

Last month it also became a certified Google partner to enable its handsets to be preloaded with the company’s mobile apps and services.

Doro UK and Ireland managing director Chris Millington (pictured) said: “We know that when users find a device easier and more enjoyable they will use it more. Doro’s approach ensures that regardless of age, or the type of mobile used, everyday communication is improved. This impressive achievement proves that we are connecting the generations.
