Orange launches roaming top up card for France


Operator’s new offer will give tourists 120 minutes, 1,000 texts and 1GB of data from mainland France to the rest of the world for €39.99 (£33)

Orange has released a new pay as you go offer aimed at tourists in France.

The Orange Mobicarte Holiday offer costs €39.99 (£33) and will give customers in France 120 minutes and 1,000 texts to the rest of the world, as well as 1GB of data. The allowance expires after 14 days.

The offer also includes access to Orange Wi-Fi and GPS navigation service Orange maps.

Once the credit is used, a top up which also includes 120 minutes, 1,000 texts and 1GB of data can be purchased for €30 (£25).

The offer is available in all Orange shops as well as selected newsagents, supermarkets and petrol stations in France.

Upon purchasing the top up, customers will receive a booklet in English and French, and will also receive text messages in English detailing their usage.
