EE said the breadth of its 4G coverage – 160 towns and counting – makes it the most attractive UK operator to partner with when it comes to roaming

EE has signed an inbound 4G roaming agreement with American operator AT&T.

The deal, which is the first of its kind in the UK, will see AT&T customers visiting the UK use EE’s network.

The American operator will set the cost of roaming for its customers, rather than EE.

EE said the breadth of its 4G coverage – 160 towns and counting – makes it the most attractive UK operator to partner with when it comes to roaming.

It said it will sign further roaming agreements early next year, although it declined to give any further information.
