CPWB expecting to add a further six by early next year to complete the trial phase, before expanding partners to cover 36 separate territories
Carphone Warehouse Business (CPWB) has ambitions for a minimum of 36 franchise partners operating under its brand by mid-2015.
The company launched its franchise partner programme in June this year as part of a pilot, working with six independent partners across the country – each receiving 50 per cent of all revenues.
Carphone expects to add a further six partners by early next year, completing the “trial phase” and then expanding partners to cover 36 separate “territories”.
Covered territories include Bournemouth, Southampton, Manchester, Warrington, West and South-west London.
CPWB marketing manager Theresa Williams said: “Each territory has approximately 11,000 SMEs so we believe there are some good opportunities.”
