Device 0.2mm thinner than its predecessor, with UK availability yet to be confirmed
Samsung has expanded its tablet range after unveiling the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite (7″). It follows the Galaxy Tab 3 (7″), which was released in July.
The Galaxy Tab 3 Lite (7″) will be available in black and white, although availability for the UK is yet to be confirmed.
It is o.2mm than its predecessor at 9.7mm but comes with the same seven inch touchscreen. It runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, whereas the Tab 3 (7″) ran version 4.1.
It is also powered by the same 1.2GHz dual-core processor but only comes with a two megapixel rear camera, whereas the Galaxy Tab 3 (7″) came with both a 3.1-megapixel rear and 1.3-megapixel front camera.
The tablet has 8GB or internal memory that can be expanded by 32GB with a microSD card. It’s predecessor had models that included both 8GB and 16GB of internal memory.
