Avenir looks to take BeeWi to the masses

Distributor looking for more retailers to sell products from the wireless mobile accessory brand

Avenir is seeking retail partnerships to sell products from its wireless mobile accessory brand BeeWi.

The products were showcased by Avenir, in London last week when the company took part in the annual London Toy Fair for the first time in a bid to attract suitors.

Products on display included the Bluetooth smartphone/tablet controlled robot KickBee, which according to the firm’s MD Andy Tow is able to play football or complete obstacle courses.

Other examples include an off-road buggy (pictured) that connects to smartphones via Wi-Fi and is able to record videos.

At present, only Maplin stocks BeeWi products on the high street – something Tow is looking to change.

“Accessories is a huge growth segment, so we wanted to give retailers an insight into consumer trends to link toys with smartphones and tablets.”
