Consumer electronics accessory distributor opening new 60,000 square foot premises on Friday, with up to 20 jobs created as a result
Kondor will double its operational space when it opens a second 60,000 square foot premises on Friday (January 31).
The consumer electronics accessory distributor began work on the building in April, which is based alongside its existing 60,000 square foot premises in Christchurch, Dorset.
It will be spread across three floors to include a number of offices and product showrooms, as well as a fully bar-coded warehouse for added product distribution efficiency and security.
Kondor, which was established in 1994, currently employs more than 200 staff. A further 10 to 20 jobs will be created when the new building opens.
In May 2009, the company moved 13 miles from Wimborne, Dorset to the first office on its plot in Christchurch, which is 50 per cent bigger than its previous premises.
The company has a range of 6,500 products covering accessories for portable devices such as mobile phones, tablets and digital cameras.
It has supply relationships with all major handset manufacturers and mobile operators, and distributes products to the likes of DSGi, Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s, John Lewis, Argos, Amazon.co.uk and Play.com.
