EE kicks off review of its indirect consumer partnerships

Operator looking for fewer but more committed relationships after hitting two million 4G customer milestone

EE is reviewing its indirect consumer partnerships as it seeks “fewer but deeper and longer-term relationships”.

The review was started by new EE chief commercial officer Marc Allera at the start of the year, around the same time the operator announced it had hit the two million 4G milestone just 15 months after it launched the service.

No decision has been made on what exactly will happen but it is likely to involve a consolidation of its current partners.

The operator currently has indirect consumer relationships with the likes of Carphone Warehouse, Phones 4u, Go Mobile, Fonehouse and Get Connected.
