The distributor has spent £1.5 million on a larger office to accommodate for growing staff numbers
Exertis Micro-P has doubled the size of its offices in Stoke-On-Trent as it looks to grow staff numbers.
The new office measures 10,500 square feet, versus the former office’s 5,000 square feet. It hosts the distributor’s mobile team for the north, which includes Conect, an online partner platform for airtime resellers.
Exertis security and Exertis GEM Design Services (the IT and home entertainment division of the company) will also be based in the new office.
The distributor said it made the move because it plans to expand in mobility and unified communications. This will include growing staff numbers, although the company declined to saw by how much. It currently employs over 60 people in Stoke-On-Trent.
Exertis UK and Ireland managing director Gerry O’Keeffe said: “We have invested £1.5m in purchasing this site, which is testament to our long term plans to build significant sales capacity in the Stoke-On-Trent area. We now employ over sixty people in the area and see it as a very promising hinterland for the recruitment of quality sales people.
“2014 is set to be a year of tremendous growth for Exertis Micro-P.”
