Businesses with 100 employees or more provided with Lumia devices, as well as a service pack to show their benefits, as manufacturer looks to convince them that Nokia can be their mobile supplier of choice
Nokia is giving UK businesses the chance to trial three of its Lumia smartphones as part of a new campaign to boost activity in the B2B and enterprise channels.
The #LumiaBizTrial campaign sees businesses with 100 or more employees supplied with the Lumia 925 (pictured centre), 625 (pictured left) and 520 (pictured right). It will also come with a service pack to show the benefits the Windows Phone smartphones can provide companies with.
It follows the ‘Lumia Built for Business. Designed for Life’ media campaign, which ran throughout Q1 2013. Backed by a £1 million investment, it was aimed at convincing businesses to choose Nokia as their preferred mobile supplier, drawing attention to the way in which Nokia devices collaborate with Microsoft applications such as Lync, SkyDrive and SharePoint.
Nokia UK and Ireland director of business sales Adrian Williams (pictured) said the Lumia range is the “obvious choice for businesses looking to optimise their mobile strategy in a cost-effective way” as Windows Phone devices can connect to employees’ SharePoint, Lync, SkyDrive, Outlook and Office accounts, enabling them to work seamlessly out of the office.
The manufacturer added its B2B market share has more than doubled to 12 per cent in the past year, representing sequential volume growth of 30 per cent. It claimed it has invested “significantly” in its channel partners and introduced programmes (such as the above) to encourage big enterprises to make the change.
Nokia is yet to provide detail on the length of the programme, volume growth and investment made.
