Accessories distributor opens sales office in the Netherlands, adding to its operations in Germany and Russia and HQ in Chessington
Frequency Telecom has expanded its international footprint with the opening of a new sales office in Rotterdam, Netherlands, as it looks to drive accessory sales across the Benelux region.
The new office, which opened this month, adds to the Surrey-based distributor’s existing European offices, which also include Bonn in Germany and Moscow, Russia.
Frequency Telecom managing director Gareth Limpenny (pictured) said the decision to open the sales office was based on a “significant” increase in demand for its product from retailers within the region.
The office is managed by Daniël Metselaar, who was appointed in October to develop business contacts and establish agreements in the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Belgium.
Metselaar held senior roles at mobile accessories distributors Logic3 and DGM Distribution over a 10-year period prior to joining Frequency.
“Daniel’s knowledge of the region and its channel partners, combined with his knowledge of the consumer electronics accessories industry, is essential.”
Limpenny confirmed all stock will be warehoused and shipped from the UK, with a turnround time of 48 hours in most instances.
