First UK advertising campaign for smartphone brand aimed at construction sector
Bullit Mobile, worldwide licensee of the Cat phone brand, will run a six-figure ad campaign on Sky Television to promote its durable smartphone.
The Cat B15, aimed specifically at outdoor and construction workers, was announced at the Mobile World Congress last year.
The ad campaign will debut on the 17th February and run until mid-March, airing at times when viewing figures for its target audience are expected to be at their peak.
“This is the first time we have advertised on British TV and we are very excited to see what response we get,” said Dave Floyd, co-chief executive officer, Bullitt Mobile.
The Android-based smartphone, available via a Sky microsite and Amazon, is able to survive a 1.8m drop or being submerged in water for 30 mins. Users are also able to use the scratch and dustproof resistant 4-inch screen with wet fingers.
