Huawei has added the entry-level, Android-based Ascend Y530 to its UK range of handsets.
The firm is targeting the device at less confident smartphone users, and allows owners to choose from two Android interfaces, in an effort to simplify its use.
“The Huawei Ascend Y530 is a ground breaking proposition, offering consumers a choice of Android interfaces,” Rhys Saunders, UK sales director, Huawei Device said.
The Ascend Y530 features a 4.5 inch screen, 5MP camera,1.2GHz dual core processor and a 1,700 mAh battery.
The phone is available in black via the Argos website priced at £149.95, while a white version will be sold through Carphone Warehouse from March.
