Steel joins Virgin Mobile co-founder Alexander at Viacloud

Steel replaces Emanuele Angelidis

Joe Steel has been appointed as Viacloud’s chief executive officer joining former Virgin Mobile co-founder Tom Alexander on the MVNA’s leadership team.

He replaces Emanuele Angelidis who Mobile News exclusively revealed left the business last week. The company says that Angelidis left the board for ‘personal reasons’.

A statement from Angelidis released through Viacloud said: “I would like to wish Joe every success and look forward to him building upon the foundations we have put in place.”

Alexander said he was delighted his former colleague was joining Viacloud, adding: “He is an entrepreneurial leader who is well positioned to take the company to its next stage of growth. I have worked extensively with Joe in the past, and he is ideally placed to develop and grow the business.”
