Chip manufacturer announces increased processing power across its range.

Qualcomm has announced the next generation of its Snapdragon processors at Mobile World Congress 2014 that should make it easier for manufacturers to produce 4G LTE devices.

The two chips, the Snapdragon 610 and 615, also include the latest 3G and WiFi technology and will support LTE Broadcast and LTE Dual SIM Dual Active. It is anticipated that it will support dater browsing, better graphics and increased handset performance.

The firm also announced the latest chip in its 800 tier for the blue chip handset makers. The Snapdragon 801 will support increased resolutions, memory speeds, ultra HD video capture and more.

Both chip lines will be shipped in devices later this year.
