The distributor has signed a deal with the manufacturer to bring its products to the UK channel
Exertis Micro-P has signed a deal with Chinese manufacturer ZTE that will see it distribute its products in the UK.
The partnership is the result of ZTE and Exertis Micro-P taking part in an initiative called ‘Channel Dragons’, which aims to match major UK distributors with vendors who have growth potential.
Exertis Micro-P will focus initially on enterprise products including CPE, switches, access points and controllers, and video conferencing and IP telephony products.
It told Mobile News it will also distribute its smartphones in future.
Under the Channel Dragons programme business development team the Tech Crowd pitched ZTE to Exertis Micro-P. The Tech Crowd will now work alongside ZTE UK to achieve its targets. This will include developing a marketing strategy with Exertis Micro-P with the aim of securing stock in the coming weeks.
The Tech Crowd managing director Jamie Plumridge said: “Its range is predominantly aimed at the Enterprise market, which makes this a natural starting point.”
