Moritz Roth, who has also worked for Telefonica, will now focus on Motorola’s marketing in EMEA and APAC
Motorola has appointed Moritz Roth to the role of VP of marketing for EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and APAC (Asia-Pacific), effective immediately.
Roth joins the company from Microsoft Germany, where as Chief Marketing Officer he was responsible for all commercial and consumer communications.
He also worked as VP of sales for Telefonica in Germany, and has filled marketing and consulting roles for AOL and German operator Deutsche Telekom.
Motorola said Roth’s appointment “is another example of the importance of the EMEA and APAC region for Motorola”.
He will be based in Germany but travel frequently to the UK and around the EMEA and APAC regions.
