Fonehouse aims to go ‘big’ on high street B2B connections

All retailers franchisees will have a dedicated B2B section by next month

Fonehouse is making a mass retail push into B2B next month by enabling all of its 50 franchises across the UK to make business connections.

The high street retailer makes business connections through EE, as well as Vodafone MVNA Gamma for airtime, fixed line, VoiP, broadband and video conferencing products and services for the first time.

Around six of Fonehouse’s 32 franchise partners have been making B2B connections but from early next month all partners will have the ability to do this as Fonehouse looks to become an established B2B player.

Fonehouse chairman Clive Bayley (pictured) said: “We’re really going big on B2B and increasing our whole SME presence. It’s time to do this. We realise a lot of our consumer franchise partners have the capability to sell B2B connections successfully, so it makes sense to identify them to enable them to do this.”

Each Fonehouse store will have a dedicated B2B section, and will predominately be branded as EE, with all franchisees fully trained to sell the contracts. They will also be supported by Fonehouse’s business teams in Stoke and Nottingham when processing bigger deals.
