Tim Beere will be responsible for how the company markets its new range of rugged devices
Rugged mobile manufacturer Toughshield has appointed former LG executive Tim Beere as global head of marketing and communications.
Beere filled the role of European head of marketing for mobile at LG and also held several positions at Motorola including global product marketing manager.
At Toughshield, he will be responsible for how the company markets its new range of rugged devices, due to be launched soon. Beere will be supported by another new starter, Melanie Havemann, who joins as marketing assistant.
Commenting on his appointment Beere said that the rugged device market represents a “huge growth opportunity”.
“Whilst rugged devices have historically and predominantly focused on the enterprise market, the accessibility and benefits of Toughshield devices are much broader.”
