Operator’s head of store finance takes up the role held by channel business manager Andy Perkis on an interim basis
O2 has promoted Sarah Davies to the role of head of Centre of Excellence and business partners.
She replaces Peter McLeod (pictured), who quit in January after just eight months in the role.
Davies has been at O2 for the past two years. She had held the position of head of store finance, charged with managing the commercial model around the mobile operator’s franchise business.
For the past two months, O2 channel business manager Andy Perkis had been overseeing the role left vacant by McLeod’s departure until the appointment of Davies.
McLeod joined O2 in May 2007 as head of field sales for the North. In 2009 he became head of fixed solutions and two years later was appointed head of business development for SMB sales before taking up his last role following an internal restructure of its B2B teams.
O2 confirmed Davies’ promotion but declined to comment further.
