Taylor joins MDS as non-exec director


Nomad Digital chief executive Andrew Taylor joins company to to help beyond just offering ‘billing support’

Convergent billing and customer management solutions provider to the telecoms industry MDS has appointed Andrew Taylor as a non-executive director.

The company, whose clients include BT, eircom Business, TalkTalk Business and Telefonica UK, says the new appointment will support the company’s growth plans.

The plans involve offering more customer relationship management support and move beyond offering “just billing support”. Taylor will work one day a month for MDS to help the firm in these areas.

He has more than 23 years experience in the telecoms arena and was chief executive officer of billing and operational support systems supplier Intec before it was sold to CSG systems for $380 million (£230 million).

Taylor is group chief executive of Nomad Digital, a wireless provider for the transport industry.
