Girls Aloud singer DJ’s at a silent disco in flagship Oxford Street store
Carphone Warehouse used Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding to launch the Sony Xperia Z2 at its flagship Oxford Street store in central London.
Harding played the decks at a silent disco which was used to promote the digital noise cancelling headphones that the handset comes packaged with.
Anyone purchasing the Xperia Z2 will also be able to download Xscape, the posthumous album from Michael Jackson when it is released on May 12.
The phone has a 5.2-inch HD touchscreen, runs Android’s KitKat 4.4.2 software and is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core processor.
It also boasts one of the best cameras on the market at 20.7MP for the rear and 2.2MP for the front-facing. Storage comes it at around 16GB but can be boosted by a 128GB microSD card.
