EE director Jackson and head of internal brands Lynne Arrowsmith to set up consultancy firm after more than 10 years at the operator
EE director (CEO Office) Stuart Jackson and head of internal brands and communication Lynne Arrowsmith are leaving the network at the end of June to start their own marketing and branding consultancy UPComms.
The agency has three strands to it – UP Consultancy (Corporate and Leadership Comms for big businesses), UPstart PR (aimed at the UK’s growing start-up scene) and Inside UP (Internal Brand, Comms and Culture).
The pair have each worked for EE and its predecessor Orange, which merged with T-Mobile in 2010 to form EE, for more than ten years.
Jackson was director of comms at both Orange and EE until September, 2012 when he moved to work directly for EE boss Olaf Swantee. Arrowsmith was involved with the creation of the EE brand.
“UP Communications will begin operating on July 1st and I’ll continue to work closely with Olaf and the EE team throughout this transitional period. I’m extremely proud of what we’ve achieved here, both at Orange and more recently at EE. It has been a truly incredible experience”, said Jackson.
His departure follows that of EE chief of brand and comms Steven Day, who left the company last December to work with new start-up ventures.
