Three rebrands store as ‘Trois’ to mark Tour De France

Outlet in Leeds given new signage for one day only as staff promote its Feel At Home proposition, which has seen roaming charges abolished in 16 countries

Three has rebranded its store on Commercial Street in Leeds as ‘Trois’ to mark the start of the Tour De France in the city.

Staff in store have been on hand to promote its Feel At Home proposition, which enables customers to use their monthly UK mobile allowances in 16 countries across the world.

These are France, Switzerland, Israel, Finland, Norway, the US, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Macau, Australia, Italy, Austria, Hong Kong, Sweden, Denmark and Republic of Ireland.

Customers across contract, prepay, SIM-only and mobile broadband can use their current allowance as l0ng as international roaming is activated. Call and texts to non-UK numbers are charged at standard roaming rates. Tethering is not included, while prepay customers will require an add-on.

Three chief executive Dave Dyson said: “The rebranding of our store in Leeds is a great way to highlight just how great Feel At Home is. Roaming charges are a rip-off and Three is tackling the issue head-on.

“It’s extremely important to us that anyone who makes the trip across the Channel to watch cycling action this Summer doesn’t end up out of pocket.”
