Lumia 930 to hit UK stores on July 17


Microsoft running promotional offer worth £130 for two weeks that includes free wireless charger, speaker and £20 voucher to spend at the Windows store 

Microsoft Devices has revealed that the Lumia 930 smartphone will go on sale in the UK from July 17.

It will be available from Carphone Warehouse, Phones 4u, EE, Vodafone, O2 and Tesco, free on contract from £33 per month. A wireless charger will also come packaged with the phone.

In addition, Microsoft is running a promotional offer from July 17-31 worth £130 that will see customers buying from participating retailers receiving a free additional wireless charger, an MD-12 speaker and a £30 voucher for the Windows store.

The Lumia 930 was unveiled at the Microsoft Build 2014 event on April 2 and is the company’s flagship smartphone for this year.

It is powered by a 2.2GHz quad-core processor and runs the new Windows Phone 8.1 operating system. It has a five-inch full HD touchscreen, 20 megapixel rear PureView camera. 1.2 megapixel front camera, HD video playback and surround sound recording accompanied by four microphones.

Also included is a 2,420mAh battery, integrated wireless charging, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory and 7GB of free OneDrive cloud storage.
