Thunder 340W smartphone to be first in the collection to be released, which stretches the manufacturer’s devices beyond the Android OS
KAZAM signed a deal with Microsoft to develop a range of devices running the Windows Phone 8.1 OS.
It adds to the collection of Android-based devices KAZAM already manufacturers, and said the new partnership adds greater depth to its product portfolio.
The Windows Phone 8.1 device from the manufacturer is the Thunder 340W smartphone.
It is powered by a 1.2GHz processor and has a four-inch touchscreen, five megapixel rear and VGA front camera,s, video recording and playback, 512MB of RAM, dual-SIM capability and 4GB of internal memory.
Pricing and availability for the UK will be announced in due course.
KAZAM CEO Michael Coombes said: “The addition of a Windows Phone to KAZAM’s growing portfolio is an important step in the business, especially as more people are choosing the many benefits and personal experiences offered by Windows Phone 8.1.”
