Unily will “revolutionise digital enterprise solutions sector”
Microsoft gold partner Brightstarr has launched a new cloud-based intranet solution that it claims will revolutionise the digital enterprise solutions sector.
Brightstarr’s new Unily system offers internal communications, document management and employee search facilities into an enterprise focussed cloud based portal that is compatible with IOS, Android and Windows-based systems.
The new portal sits on top of Microsoft’s Sharepoint system, which has 66 per cent of the collaborative platform market, according to Brighstarr, with 82 per cent of companies saving money by adopting cloud-based solutions.
The Surrey-based firm said the system has been designed to drive user adoption by providing brand consistency across multi-channel interfaces. It offers a full managed service from consulting with customers on what they need from Unily to after service consultancy and analytics.
The Surrey-based digital solutions company employees 120 across sites in Guildford in and in the US said Unily had been in development for over a year.
It was launched on September 5 and BrightStarr co-founder Will Saville said the firm is close to securing deals with several large, global companies. He said: “We have a roadmap in place for the rest of the year so once we have ten or so customers using Unily, we’ll get their feedback on the service.
“We developed Unily because we saw that a lot of solutions in the intranet space were very similar no matter what sector it was in. We wanted to offer something unique.”
Unily runs on mainly on Microsoft system, although it also has app compatibility for IoS and Android, and Saville said Brightstarr’s relationship with Microsoft is very important to the firm.
Saville, who is accredited as a Microsoft Virtual Technology Specialist, added: “We have a very strong relationship with Microsoft and our employees work with them closely. It is a very positive partnership.”
