Azzurri Communications appoints new sales director


Lynch joins from Irish telco with responsibility for driving growth across Azzurri’s entire portfolio

Telecommunications provider Azzurri Communications has appointed ex-Eircom executive Brendan Lynch as its new sales director.

He joins from the Irish telecommunications giant where he was working as a consultant to the former chief executive officer Herb Hribar, who quit last week.

Lynch has previously held the role of director of business and partner markets at Virgin Media Business where he had responsibility for the development and execution of the firm’s sales strategy across both the enterprise and wholesale markets. He has also he,d a number of roles at telcos in Europe and India.

Lynch joins chief executive officer Chris Jagusz as a recent appointment at the firm as Azzuri seeks to turn its fortunes around. Revenue has dipped from a high point of £140 million in 2010 to £111 for the year-ending 30 June 2013.
