Three director of retail departs in reshuffle

Jacqueline Kelleher leaves operator after it axes director of retail role

Three has confirmed that director of retail Jacqueline Kelleher has left the operator after her role was axed as part of a retail reshuffle.

Kelleher decided to leave the business after eight years when the post of director of retail was made redundant due to an internal assessment of Three’s sales operations.

A Three spokesman revealed Kelleher’s responsibilities will now be overseen by Sales Director Amanda Lambert and the former will not be replaced.

Kelleher previously had roles with Curry’s and The Link before joining Three in 2007. She became Three’s head of retail sales in December 2008 and has worked in Three’s retail division since.

A Three spokesperson said Kelleher had made a significant contribution in the development of Three’s retail footprint in her near-eight years with the network.

The spokesperson said: “We are making some changes to the structure of our sales team as part of our efforts to give our customers a consistent experience. As a result of these changes the role of Director of Retail is redundant so Jacquie Kelleher has decided to leave the business.

“She will be missed by all of us at Three but in particular by her team who she worked so closely with. We wish her all the best of success and happiness in her future ventures.”
