Retailer launches social media campaign to promote range of colour exclusives available
Carphone Warehouse has launched a Christmas advertising campaign that will focus on the range of coloured handsets that the store stocks.
The campaign centres around a film where a group of bikers dressed in bright colours drive through a gloomy seaside town. It will run across the retailers YouTube, Facebook and Twitter channels with the hashtag, ColourInvasion.
The retailer says it has a choice of more than 20 exclusive colour handsets in-store. These include the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 in gold, the Galaxy Alpha in blue and gold and the HTC One (M8).
The motorcycle theme is expanded with customers being offered the chance to win a Harley Davidson 883 Matte Black Roadster by interacting with their social channels. Daily prizes of handsets are also being given out between today (December 4th) and December 18th.
“Giving our customers a unique choice of over 20 colour exclusives this Christmas, also gave us an opportunity to do something unique with our communications,” said customer and marketing director Julian Diment. “We’re excited that our colourful bikers will bring some fun and entertainment across our digital platforms over Christmas.“
