Vodafone the only operator not to offer handset following its launch in Three
Three has became the latest operator to offer the Moto G 4G handset following its launch in June.
The operator’s launch follows O2 and EE leaving only Vodafone as the only major UK operator not to offer the budget handset. Vodafone currently doesn’t offer any Motorola handsets.
Three is offering the handset on contracts starting at £16 per month with 300 mins, unlimited text and 500MB of data. All Three contracts are offered with 4G (depending on coverage and handset compatibility) at no extra cost.
The Moto G 4G is the follow up to last year’s phenomenally successful Moto G. That handset helped Motorola’s marketshare rise from just 0.3 per cent in the three months ending September 30, 2013, to 6.4 a year later (Kantar Worldpanel ComTech).
The Moto G 4G has a 4.5 inch HD display, 1.2HHz processor, 1GB RAM, 5MP rear camera, 1.3MP front-facing and a 2070mAh battery.
