Samsung CEO to deliver opening keynote at CES


BK Yoon will address the manufacturer’s view on the Internet of Things and how it plans to contribute to it

Samsung Electronics has announced that its CEO BK Yoon will deliver the opening keynote presentation at the Consumer Eelctronics Show in Las Vegas on January 5.

Yoon (pictured) will address the manufacturer’s vision on the Internet of Things (IoT) and how it will contribute to the trend.

His keynote will be held in the Palazzo Ballroom of the Venetian hotel, with Samsung’s exhibition located in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Centre.

“The Internet of Things is such an important and exciting topic in our industry right now,” said Yoon. “I am thrilled to join the conversation at CES this year to discuss how IoT will unlock infinite possibilities, bringing new value to our lives and transforming the way we live.”

The event, which runs until Janiuary 9 and will attract more than 3,500 exhibitors, will also feature keynote presentations by executives from companies including  Qualcomm, Philips, General Motors and Electrolux.
