Just 1,947 units of the limited edition Torino Lamborghini 88 Tauri handset are available
Lamborghini is showcasing one of the more expensive smartphones on the planet at CES 2015.
Its Torino Lamborghini 88 Tauri Android-based handset is priced at an outrageous £4,000.
For that price you will get five-inch display, 20MP rear camera, 8MP front-facing camera, 64GB internal memory, 3GB RAM, 3,400mAh battery and a 2.3GHz processor.
The manufacturer says that the glass on the display has been reinforced to make it scratch and shatter proof.
The main body of the handset is made from steel and leather. The former is available in black, gold and steel, while the latter is available in blue, brown, black, orange and red.
Just 1,947 of the handsets are being made available, direct from the car manufacturer, to commemorate the founding of the company in 1947.
Despite the price tag, it still costs less than half the £10,700 a Bentley-branded handset from Vertu would set you back.
