More minutes or data added to its Small, Medium and Large plans, with 12-month SIM-only extra data packages reduced to half priceTalkTalk has refreshed its mobile tariffs in a move it claims will save customers even more money.
The quad-play company, which offers mobile, landline, broadband and TV, has introduced new extra minutes or data options across its Small, Medium and Large plans. Customers can also increase their inclusive minutes or data free of charge.
TalkTalk has reduced the price of its 12-month SIM-only extra data packages to half price at £3.75 for the Small tariff (250 minutes, 250 texts and 300MB of data), £6.25 for the Medium tariff (400 minutes, unlimited texts and 1GB of data) and £7.50 for the Large tariff (700 minutes, unlimited texts and 2GB of data)..
It has also created the Extra Large plan, which includes 2,000 minutes, unlimited texts and 4GB of data for £20 a month. Customers who sign up online for any of the plans will receive double the data as standard.
For tablets, TalkTalk is now offering the Apple iPad mini 3 or iPad Air as part of its tablet bundle. They can pair these devices with smartphones including the Samsung Galaxy Fame and Galaxy 3 Neo from £25 a month.
“We’ve refreshed our mobile tariffs to give customers even more options while keeping prices low. We know households who bundle their mobile package with their phone, broadband and TV save more money in the long run, that’s why we work hard to provide the latest handsets at an affordable price, all exclusively for TalkTalk homes.
“With more and more people handing down their old phone to elderly relatives or teenage children, these half price SIM only plans are set to make a huge number of families better off.”
TalkTalk is also offering homes half price smartphones for the first 12 months of their 24 month contract, which it said provides savings of up to £195 a year on plans. Handsets such as the Samsung Galaxy Young 2, Nokia Lumia 735 and LG L40 start from £3.75 a month.
The refresh builds on the inclusive mobile SIM for all TalkTalk’s Plus TV customers, which the firm said saves them a further £90 a year. Homes with this package can now get broadband, TV and phone and 100 minutes, 250 texts and 200MB of data for £18.50 a month, plus £16.70 line rental.
