Operator joins Brightstar, Elite Mobile, Exertis and Lebara as the main supporters of this year’s event
O2 has confirmed it is to be a headline sponsor of the Mobile News Awards. The network joins Brightstar, Elite Mobile, Exertis, and Lebara as main supporters of the industry’s most prestigious awards event.
“It’s hugely important to have a blue-chip network like O2 endorsing the Mobile News Awards,” said Mobile News business development director Garry Wybourn.
“O2 is very selective about sponsorships it participates in. It is a great endorsement of the Mobile News Awards that O2 has selected to partner with the event.
“We also massively appreciate the support given by our category sponsors (Crystal Ball, Mobile Phones Direct, UTL, LG, TMT First, Sony, Carphone Warehouse, Huawei, and Genuine Solutions).
More than 80 per cent of tables have been sold for the black-tie gala dinner at the Hilton on Park Lane on March 12, to be hosted by comedy star Al Murray (‘The Pub Landlord’).
“There is still time to enter the Awards”, said event organiser Kimberley Glover. “The deadline is February 6. Submissions are now processed through out online portal.
