Three, O2, Vodafone and EE all confirm they will stock device when it goes on sale in mid-March
All four UK operators have confirmed they will be stocking the HTC One M9, which was officially launched in Barcelona earlier today (March 1).
O2 is stocking the device in two colours, gun metal grey and gold on silver. It will be available on its O2 Refresh tariff which splits the cost of the handset and airtime, allowing consumers to upgrade their handsets in-contract with no additional cost.
Three will also be stocking the device which comes bundled with its Feel at Home initiative which allows customers to use their allowances in 16 countries around the world.
Additionally, EE will be ranging the device which is the first non-Samsung product to be compatible with its 4G+ network which offers real-world speeds of up to 150Mbps. The service is only live in Central London currently although the operator plans to roll it out in selected areas of the country this year.
Vodafone has just announced it too will stock the device with none of the operators was able to confirm pricing.
Carphone Warehouse also confirmed that it will be ranging the new flagship device.
A Carphone spokesperson said: “HTC has become a manufacturer to watch when it comes to design. Last year the HTC One M8 won more awards than any other handset on the market and the new HTC One M9 looks like a prime candidate to do the same. HTC have become a firm favourite with our customers and in terms of sales are now in the top 5 of Carphone Warehouse’s most popular mobile manufacturers.”
O2 MVNO giffgaff has also announced it will range the new HTC flagship, with the device being offered unlocked and separate to the tariff as a “Goodybag” or through peer-to-peer financing through RateSetter.
