Pinnacle to provide IT security to public sector using O2’s CAS(T) certification
IT and mobile provider Pinnacle Technology has joined O2’s Direct Partner Network which will see it provides O2’s services to its public sector client base.
Pinnacle – which has offices in Northampton, Stoke-on-Trent and Glasgow – already offers O2 connections, but it has now been made a specialist partner due to its B2B security solution.
It said it will now offer a complete solution for public sector organisations through its Public Services Network framework after O2 became the first UK network to become CAS(T) certified
CAS(T) certification is the government-approved network certification, which O2 was granted in May last year.
Pinnacle CEO Nicholas Scallan said: “Our exciting partnership with O2 is another demonstration of our on-going commitment to offering clients technology, digital products and services that will significantly enhance their business.”
“It’s great to be able to confirm what we believe will be an exciting agreement that serves to enhance our focus on adding value, provides greater opportunity for sustainable growth, while signposting our wider ambitions.”
“We further believe that being able to offer both existing and new public sector clients PSN-assured services is highly appropriate in the current climate, where cyber security is increasingly important to both the public and private sectors.”
O2 head of partners Jason Phillips (pictured) said: “I’m delighted that Pinnacle has become part of the new O2 Direct Partner Network.
“We’re focusing on developing deeper relationships with our partners to deliver the best in mobility and digital solutions. I’m looking forward to working with Pinnacle to achieve this.”
